First Unitarian Universalist Church of Stockton has the Robert E. Green Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1000. Medically focused college students are being offered scholarships by the Doctors Hospital of Manteca Auxiliary volunteers. The application packet for the 2016-17 academic year will be available Monday through Friday 9 am until 3 pm at the hospital's front desk beginning Monday February 15. Applicants must be residents of the Manteca or Ripon school districts. The applicants must be pursuing studies leading to a career in the healthcare or medical professions. The Blue Diamond Growers Foundation, a scholarship fund established in 2010 and in the fifth year of granting scholarships, is now accepting applications for the 2016 - 2017 school year.
The scholarship is open to students living in the almond-producing regions of California who plan to pursue a four-year degree in plant sciences, agricultural engineering, agricultural economics or subjects with relevance to almond production.
The Foundation will select candidates based on Academic achievement and Extra-curricular activity involvement such as FFA or 4H Club.

The San Joaquin Farm Bureau Federation and SJFB foundation for agricultural education are pleased to announce that they are offering $30,000 in scholarships to local students.
The San Joaquin Farm Bureau Federation offers several $2000.00 scholarships to students who are children of members of the San Joaquin Farm Bureau Federation and who are planning to major in any agricultural field. The SJFB foundation offers up to five $1250.00 scholarships to students whose parents work in an agricultural field in San Joaquin County.
The Robert J. Cabral Memorial Scholarship Fund offers two $2,000 scholarship awards to students entering or attending a four -year college or university and are majoring in agriculture or education. It also funds a $1,000 award to a student attending either MJC or Delta Junior College and who is planning a career in either education or agriculture.
The Clifford Dale Wunsch Scholarship offers two $2,500 scholarship awards to students entering or attending an accredited junior college or four- year college or university and are majoring in agriculture.
The Gary Simas Agriculture Scholarship annually offers two $500 scholarship awards to students attending Modesto Junior College or San Joaquin Delta College and one $1,000 scholarship award to a student attending a four-year college or university. The Barbara Mettler Memorial Scholarship offers up to two $1000 scholarship awards funded by the SJFB foundation for Agriculture Education. Emphasis is based on exemplary community service.
The Alex Hildebrand Memorial Scholarship offers one $2000 scholarship to any student entering or attending an accredited four year college, university, or graduate program, and pursuing a career in a scientific or technical field that will be used to benefit agriculture.
The San Joaquin Young Farmers & Ranchers will fund up to $1500 in scholarships for the 2015-2016 year. The purpose of this scholarship is not only to reward those who have demonstrated a commitment to agriculture, but also to secure a viable future for the agriculture industry by funding the education of tomorrow's leaders.
