Parents/Guardians, Students and Teachers:
Pursuant to California Education Code Section 35186, you are hereby notified that:
There should be sufficient textbooks and instructional materials. That means each pupil, including English learners, must have a textbook or instructional materials, or both, to use in class and to take home.
School facilities must be clean, safe, and maintained in good repair.
There should be no teacher vacancies or misassignments. There should be a teacher assigned to each class and not a series of substitutes or other temporary teachers. The teacher should have the proper credential to teach the class, including the certification required to teach English learners if present. Misassignment means that placement of certificated employee in a teaching or services position for which the employee does not hold a legally recognized certificate or credential or the placement of a certificated employee in a teaching or services position that the employee is not otherwise authorized by statute to hold. Teacher vacancy means a position to which a single designated certificated employee has not been assigned at the beginning of the year for an entire year or, if the position is for a one-semester course, a position to which a single designated certificated employee has not been assigned at the beginning of a semester for an entire semester.
Students not passing one or both parts of the CAHSEE by the completion of grade 12 are eligible to receive intensive instruction for up to two years or until passage of the exam.

Conforme con el Código Educativo, Sección 35186, se le notifica por la presente que:
Deberá haber suficientes libros de texto y materiales de instrucción. Esto significa que cada alumno, incluyendo aquellos que están aprendiendo inglés, deben tener un libro de texto o materiales de instrucción, o ambos, para usar en la clase y para llevar a casa.
El recinto escolar deberá estar limpio, seguro y mantenido en reparación.
No deberá haber vacantes de maestros ni asignaciones incorrectas. Deberá haber un maestro asignado para cada clase y no una serie de substitutos u otros maestros temporales. El maestro deberá tener las credenciales apropiadas para enseñar la clase, incluyendo la certificación requerida para enseñar a quienes estan aprendiendo Ingles, sí hay algunos presentes. Asignaciones incorrectas significa la ubicación de un empleado certificado en una posición de instrucción o servicio para la cual el empleado no tiene un certificado o credencial o la ubicación de un empleado certificado en una posición de instrucción para la cual el empleado no esté debidamente autorizados. Vacantes de maestros significa una posición a la cual un empleado específico, debidamente certificado, no ha sido asignado en una posición de instrucción o servicio al comienzo del año por todo el año o, si la posición es para un curso de un semestre para la cual el empleado específico, debidamente certificado, no ha sido asignado al comienzo del semestre por todo el semestre.
Estudiantes que no pasan una o ambas partes del examen CAHSEE al completar el grado 12 son elegibles para recibir instrucción intensiva hasta por dos años o hasta que pasen el examen.
