This "pseudo-science" of memory transplantation and the memory of the heart and other organs. 

Those that are absent, watch all four parts and give your thoughts to the following questions:

1. what other ideas of pseudoscience have you heard of?
2. Take notes in your journal about the documentary. 
3. What are your thoughts about the documentary?

2. You may make a copy of the outline to pre-write your letter if you need guidance. This is optional.
3. Open your copy of the Letter from an Unwind Template and complete the assignment.

Each of you will claim a slide and put your name under where it says, "Book Title and Author". You will then replace the filler word with the title of the book and the author. You will then fill in the green slides. Add a picture of the novel cover or a picture that best represents the novel you read!

Write a 2-3 double spaced MLA formatted paper! 

In groups of 4, you will watch the videos that are linked at the top of each slide and then take notes on them. Additional research may be needed and added to slides. WE WILL present these! Be Ready!

You will fill this out after watching the movie. But you will view the instructions for this before watching.

In groups or on your own, watch this analysis video of "A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings".

While watching or after, in your journals, outline their analysis and argument about the story. Make notes about what they talk about, key details, and how they explain magical realism. This is not an opinion piece, rather you are annotating what these gentlemen say about the story we read last week. 

Those that are absent today, please pick one article that is linked to read and answer the questions on the slide. You will answer the questions in your journal. 

Work within your table groups to complete this assignment. 
Those of you that are absent, please complete on your own or contact a table partner to be added to the slides.
