As a high school counselor, I support students and families by guiding them in making informed decisions about academic pathways and future goals. I collaborate with students, parents, teachers, and administrators to monitor progress, address concerns, and create educational plans ensuring they are prepared for college, career, and post-secondary success while fostering positive relationships and responsible decision-making within the school community.

 

In my role as AP Coordinator, I oversee the school’s Advanced Placement (AP) program by managing registration, ordering, and testing in accordance with College Board guidelines. Along with AP teachers, I help promote access, equity, and smooth operation of the AP program so students can confidently pursue advanced academic opportunities. 

 

As the English Learner (EL) counselor, I support students who are developing English proficiency by guiding them to succeed academically and socially in school. I assist all students with course placement, graduation requirements, and A–G progress while making sure they receive the appropriate language support services. I work closely with EL Liaisons, families, and administrators to advocate for students, monitor progress, and ensure English Learners have equitable access to academic opportunities and pathways to college and careers.
