Our Mission
The mission of the Ripon High School Counseling Department is to provide a comprehensive, ASCA-aligned counseling program that supports all students in their academic, college and career, and social-emotional development. Through equitable access to developmentally appropriate curriculum and services, we empower students to achieve their highest potential.
Counseling Office Location and Hours
The Ripon High School Counseling Office is located in the Administration Building at the front of the school.
The office is open during school hours from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Counselors are available to meet with students and families between 8:15 a.m. and 3:45 p.m.

Chain of Communication
We encourage families to begin by contacting their student’s teacher with any questions or concerns related to coursework, grades, or classroom expectations. Teachers are best equipped to provide timely and specific information and are often able to resolve concerns quickly.
Teacher email addresses can be found under the About Us tab and then Staff on our website. If additional support is needed after contacting the teacher, counselors are always available to assist and partner with families to support student success.
